2 weekends ago, we were on a yatch 🛥 celebrating the new release of the Two Rivers Isle of Beauty Rosé 2019 (yeah I know, hard life... 😎). We thought it was as gorgeous as ever. Well, we were not surprised to learn that it just won the Rosé Trophy at NZ Wine of the Year Awards! Congratulations @tworiversmarlborough and a special thank you to @clouston.david. Another great Tasting at Point Wines! We had the pleasure of welcoming back Marco Nordio from Sapori D'Italia 🇮🇹 with a great line-up of wines, as you can see! The Podere Castorani Montepulciano Riserva 2010 is outstanding! Forget about the old $15 Monty, this is the real deal! Also, a little tip because we are all friends here 😁, the Podere Le Ripi Rosso di Montalcino was upgraded to the Brunello status after the 2014 vintage, so if you want to drink Brunello quality wine half the price (who doesn't...) make sure you get your hands on this wine! Absolutely delicious! The Marengo Barolo and Caruso & Minini Riserva Nero D'Avola are equally stunning! I want all of 'em 🎶!... Ciao 🇮🇹🍷
Had the great pleasure of being part of Central Crush this year. A collaboration of 13 wineries from Central Otago whose goal is to convey their rich history and give us a better understanding of the differences within the region. Feel very lucky and definitely learnt a lot. Wine industry people's hospitality will always amazing me. We were spoilt rotten! Thank you so much!

What a gorgeous wine! Went on Waiheke for Man O' War Trade day and had the chance to try this beauty. I do not have a lot of information on this Syrah yet as not officially released, but make sure you keep an eye out for it! Compared to the Dreadnought, it has more pronounced florals and spices with a silky texture. Still a big wine but with more elegance and perfume. Reminded me of Côte-Rotie. Yep! Also, on a funny note, it looks like there is an old wizard on the bottle... Spooky 👻😂.
