Michael Kush hails from Chicago and has an engineering degree and background, but life events and a fascination for wine took him to various parts of the world working vintage and making wine. There’s a saying among the world’s wine interns that they spend their lives “chasing harvest”. This has formed the name for Michael and his wife Jennifer’s personal winemaking project, which is surprisingly focused, yet has a reach around the globe. Michael and Jennifer have chased harvest across five continents, eight countries and worked 22 vintages.
In the last seven years the lovely couple focused on Central Otago in New Zealand and the Douro Valley in Portugal.
An incredible story made possible thanks to their passion and drive for winemaking.
